RWJC Posted May 6 Share Posted May 6 (edited) I find it interesting that no Canadian hockey club has won the cup since 1993. Gary Bettman was hired in 1993. Since then, there have been 8 new American hockey teams, and 1 Canadian (via relocation). I understand wanting to build the sport in the US, but it’s time to buck the trend and give some love back to Canada, Gary. Yea when you have Seguin Duchene on your third lines and Ryan Suter as your 3rd pairing D, you are pretty strong. HKSR Posted May 6 Share Posted May 6 Dallas is such an intriguing team in terms of how they were/are built and structured. They basically have 3 eras of talent on one team. You've got the Pavelski, Seguin, Benn, Tanev, Duchene, Suter group. You've got the Hintz, Robertson, Heiskanen, Marchment, Lindell, Oettinger group. And then you've got the Stankoven, Johnston, Harley group. Talk about building an amazing long term success plan.
