    • Surprise? No surprise here, stunned the Canucks charged out of the gates to 10-2-1

    • Tyler "Da Chaos Giraffe" Meyers hasn't been relegated to the ECHL and in fact is punching above his weight so much, he will have positive value at the TDL if he keeps this up

    • Edmonton "Stanley Cup Contenders" Coilers laid a steaming one on the ice on opening night and have been going down hill since

Yikes.  Everyone just so average at best.  Still looks like the Ottawa game to me.  Unforced errors, sloppy coverage, losing puck battles, and just poor choices with the puck.  And no super Demko tonight to cover the inefficiencies.

Blah blah

Who was good?

Nobody looked good tonight except for the first 10 minutes. Hughes especially played like he lost some nuts & bolts, and everyone knows if you stop Hughes you stop the Canucks.

PIMs in the game are 52 for Toronto and 14 for Vancouver.

6 power plays vancouver has had and scored both goals on them.  That's a full 8 ish minutes or more with a man advantage where they in fact didn't score.  The outcome of this game is 100% on the team not capitalizing on things.
