The Canucks look to continue the east coast success when they visit the New York Rangers at MSG tonight!

Rangers will be looking to bounce back from a loss to the Canadians and continue to lead the NHL in wins(are now tied w/WPG)

Pressure is on to win this big game.  Our boys seem to still be learning to keep their emotions balanced from the highs and lows, this will be another tough one.  Deep down I feel a loss coming up, but hoping the boys play their game for 60 minutes and win this one as a statement game.

IMO think that Canuck lineup was an "all in" to insure something from the road trip.

 

These next games will be more difficult.

 

Loading up with one line will make it easier for the Rangers to match lines and counter with their best checking line(s) and defensive match ups.

Same with the Islanders.

 

Is Suter good enough to be a 2nd line center? Could be a good second line, a couple of goals

Noah has been great. Having a defenseman of his caliber as the 7th shows how far the defense has come.

I think with just one more legit top 4 D, team could make some real noise in the post-season (and that's without Demko being in 'Boss mode').

I think a top 6 center would be more important than a top 4 d.  Question is, availablity and price.

I wouldn't look at is as being in the doghouse. At least he is in the lineup. The Lotto line was dominant last game. The Suter line was also very good last game even though they did not score and deserves to stay together. The Blueger line has of course been very good for a while now. That leaves the 4th line for Hoggy. And he will have to continue to focus on his defensive assignments if he is going to hang on to that spot. He has made progress but he needs a lot of reps to turn his defensive improvements into habits.
