I couldn’t find any PB thread if there is already one my apologies, been lots of chatter for a couple months now this probably being most prominent with the guentzel watch being put to rest

Term left for another run/season. Which means the price to aquire will be steep, but who isn't at this point. 

With term left they are gonna ask for 1st, top prospect & roster player +. JMO

Man honestly not sure why the Blues would move him at all. I'm looking at their roster and damn there are so many other bodies I'd look to move first before Buchnevich. He's only 28 and is producing excellently + he's signed for next year too. You main two guys are like 24/25, I feel like they should be retooling to compete again and not dumping prime aged forwards who are signed. 

 

Anyway sure he's great and I like the idea of upgrading Mik, but the cost for Van to get him would be way too high. Save the 1st and top prospect it would take and grab a depth guy or look for a better opportunity.

Yes.  Any team would love an elite forward like Buch.

There's talks about flipping Lindholm to BOS for assets to acquire Guentzel.

 

Why not flip Lindholm to BOS for assets to acquire Buchnevich?  At least Buchnevich wouldn't be a rental.  At $5.8M this year and next, it'd give us even more options to add if we move Mikheyev as well.

This is probably the case for any of the top 6 forwards on the market. Brzustewicz was the last tradeable prospect we had who wasn't Lekkerimaki or Willander. Unless other teams heavily scouted D Petey and like him a lot.
