Can't see a great fit with Kessel but wouldn't mind the team bringing him either, especially if the cost for a rental is just too much for the Canucks' future. For as much as it's easy to make fun of Kessel, he has a lot of experience on winning teams.

I honestly wouldn't mind if he comes aboard. He has played for Tocchet & Rutherford. He has a TON of playoff experience, and knows what it takes to win.

I am not concerned with our offensive guys, the guys in question? Suter and Mik in the top 6.

I'd bring him in as insurance in case an offensive player gets injured but I don't see him taking a regular spot with everyone healthy.  GCG!

This is the MOST he could provide for us. When was the last time the dude played hockey?

He was scratched because he didn't fit in Vegas' bottom 6. We'd be acquiring him to play top 6 minutes and be the trigger man of the 2nd unit alongside Hronek. This frees Suter up to play better matchups, and gives us more options and flexibility down the stretch. IF he's in good shape, this could be worth a shot. That's TONS of playoff experience that could be incredibly valuable in such a young locker room.
