Jonathan Lekkerimäki | RW

A pure sniper. Ngl, Lekkerimaki really is turning my head. Interesting to see if it translates to the NHL. We haven't had a true sniper in quite some time. Brock was looking to become that, but injuries and whatever kind of derailed it. He's an okay all arounder but not really a pure finisher. Even Kuzy with all his goals, he led the league in tap ins. Not exactly a ripper. Petey might be the closest to a pure sniper. But his issue is he probably should be shooting more. Lekkerimaki's scouting report is he absolutely loves to shoot and shoot often. 2 goals in 2 games so far. Poised to have a strong year.

Hes really gonna explode this year.. I was tired if hearing all the doom and gloom.

Yup. Been saying for a while he moods like Mike Bossey with his movement to scoring areas and quick release. He kind of actually looks like Bossey too. Wiring strong. Great shot. Super smart. He will be our next 50 goal scorer.

Kids camping the Ovi dot scoring beauties so far. Glad to see him having a strong start to the season. There's a lot riding on him pulling it together this year and becoming a future piece for us.

Agreed. He may be ready to take Boeser’s spot in the top 6, when his contract is up

My personal opinion on Boeser differs, so I won't agree there. But fingers crossed Jon can keep it up. He essentially lost a year of development last year so he needs a big year this year.

Sorry, wasn’t putting Boeser down, just meant he could be ready for 2nd line in a couple years

You don't need to be sorry, all good. I just personally believe Boeser has a lot more to offer as a player. If his play continues this year as it has the last couple I'll admit I'm wrong. But I'm not ready yet.
